The properties of aloe vera have been known for thousands of generations. This plant was discovered by humans many years ago. So much so that there are graphic testimonies in Egyptian temples in which you can see this plant drawn, dating from the year 4000 a. C.

The latest news is what is proposes it as food, thanks to its nutritional properties que provide essential vitamins and amino acids to our diet.
Aloe vera is a shrub-like plant whose typical jagged leaves grow upwards.
Inside the leaves is the famous aloe vera gel, where all its properties appear concentrated to the maximum. In the Canary Islands (and especially in Tenerife), the aloe vera that is grown is the Barbadensis Miller variety, which has numerous benefits such as those discussed below.
The plant in this region has greatly enhanced its properties thanks to several factors:
- Dream place. Aloe vera grows in a volcanic area in the Teide area, accompanied by trade winds, which improve plant growth. Thus, to obtain a liter of aloe vera only 2.7 kg of leaves of the plant are used.
- Quality certifications. The Spectral laboratory in Cologne (Germany) endorses it as the "Best Aloe Vera in the World".
- Greater efficiency. The concentration of the active substance of aloe vera (aloverase) is especially high in the Aloe Vera Penca Zábila, which we sell.
- Ecological cultivation. All the above properties are achieved in an organic crop that does not use additional chemicals and is tested by the Regulatory Council of Organic Agriculture.
